How does Washit works?

Quite easy. Clothing Care: Specify pickup address, choose your preferred pickup date and time, select what kind of service if will like to have Wash & Fold, Laundered Shirts, or Dry Cleaning. Add special requests regarding stains or specific pickup and delivery instructions and submit the order. Home Care: Choose your apartment size/price package, select preferred home cleaning date and time. Add any information regarding the cleaning or access to the apartment in the note section and you are all set! Car Wash Detailing: Choose your service option, select preferred car cleaning date and time. Add any information regarding the cleaning or access to the apartment in the note section and you are all set!

What is the turnaround time?

All services has a next day turnaround time.

• Laundered Shirts (men’s button-down shirts for pressing) and Dry Cleaning have a 2-4 days turnaround time.
• We are unable to provide express services at the moment
• Home cleaning & Car wash detailing depends on availability

Do I have to be home when you come by?

Not necessarily. Laundry & Dry Cleaning
You are welcome to leave your items for pick up. Make sure you provide us with "pick-up information". Home cleaning This require access to the premise, so in case you aren't at home, make sure to leave clear instructions on how to gain access to your home. Car Wash & Detailing This require access to the car, so in case you aren't at home, make sure to leave clear instructions on how to gain access to your car.

Can I track my order?

Whether you are a private customer or a company client and irrespectiove of the kind of service you can always track your order. Once you are logged in, you will be able to track your order on “My orders” to view your order status and when your clothes will be returned to you.

What do I have to be aware of ?

We kindly ask you to pay particularly attention to personal belongings such as:

- Cufflinks
- Collar stiffeners
- Jewelries
- Driver's license
- Credit cards
- Money
- Hankerchief

Do I pay a fee for a failed delivery?

In case the helper is not able to get in contact with you on the scheduled address or by contacting you at your phone number, you will be charged with a small fee for unsuccessful pickup/delivery or no show fees. Therefore, we recommend that you always pay special attention to the information you provide when placing your order.

How do I protect myself from the pandemic during the process?

Based on guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Government of Canada, we recommend taking the following precautions:

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands
• Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing
• Practice respiratory hygiene by covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze

Is there a minimum order?

WashIT Laundry & Dry Cleaning has kept a minimum order of $40.

How do I pay?

We charge your card on file, once the order is placed, and processed. The only means for payment, for now, is a card payment

I need more information about price charges?

Here are some details :

• WashIT has kept a minimum order of $40.
• Delivery fee for orders below $150 is flat $7.99.
• Free delivery on $150 and above.
• We do not charge for pick-up

How much should I tip for service providers?

It’s entirely up to you on how much you would like to tip. Your courier receives 100% of the delivery fee and tip provided.

Do I have to leave out supplies?

You have to provide all cleaning materials (vacuum to mop and cleaning materials and soap ) also make it visible for helpers when they come in

Who are the Helpers from Washit ?

These are employees from our carefully selected best service providers, we have a fine-tuned screening process and onboarding process.

What is Hang Dry?

Hang dry is when an item is laundered in a washing machine, but hung on premium quality, plastic hangers to allow it to air dry. These items may come back wet. Wetness will depend on both the material the garment is made from, as well as the thickness.

What is Wash & Fold?

Our Wash & Fold service is the standard washing process includes separating of whites and colors and premium eco-friendly detergents.

What is Dry Cleaning?

Dry cleaning is a cleaning process that uses solvent instead of water to clean fabrics and garments. It is used to clean fabrics that degrade in water, as well as delicate fabrics that cannot withstand the rough and tumble of a washing machine and clothes dryer.

What types of clothing should be dry cleaned?

The care instructions on an item provides information if an item is to be dry cleaned or not.

What is the difference between Dry Cleaning and Laundered Shirts?

Dry Cleaning is a cleaning process that uses solvent versus water to clean fabrics and garments. While laundered Shirts are for standard men’s button down shirts only. They are are separated by color and washed in industrial washing machines. Then the shirts are placed on a custom shirt pressing machine that presses the collars, cuffs, sleeves and body of the shirt.

Do you do same day bookings?

Yes we do take same day bookings, but it ultimately depends on whether we have any helpers available since we are often fully booked days in advance.

What days do you operate?

We operate 7 days a week .

Do you have any recurring plans?

We certainly do. Many of our customers have their cars washed on a regular fortnightly basis and often opt for an upgrade to a car detail every few months as needed. Select a recurring plan / package also allows you to receive 15% off the original price. In selecting a recurring plan, your bookings will be secured for every following fortnight at the same time and billed the day after the service.

What is the difference between a car wash and car detailing?

Washing your car regularly and detailing your vehicle goes a long distance towards maintaining that “new car” feel and look. Both services will certainly maintain your vehicle. However, a detailing will cater to the intricate needs of your vehicle. We do recommend detailing your car every couple of months to keep it in top shape. Once you have detailed your car it makes it much easier to maintain the cleanliness with subsequent regular washes. Ultimately the difference between a car wash and car detail comes down to time and effort. As the name suggests, car detailing requires a greater attention to detail and this can often mean extra tools/equipment, higher grade products and the use of more product. Whether you are in need of a car detail or a car wash will depend on your expectations and what you need completed. If you are looking for a regular wash to maintain your vehicle then a car wash may be best for you. If you are looking to resell your vehicle for maximal value, a car detail would be a great cost-effective way to do so. Although this does not mean that detailing is only for people looking to sell, but for those looking to restore their pride and joy.
